Vallskoga Förskola

Centipede bench, butterfly sculpture and sign for Vallskoga förskola, Tierps kommun. With Calle Cyrén.

The project was started with an excursion with the kids to the woods sorrounding the kindergarten that was under construction. The kids got to fill up my car with, sticks, stones, leaves, moss, pine cones, pieces of trash and whatever they could find except for moose poop. Back in the studio I made still life drawings and paintings of the material.

For the outdoors we decided to work with bugs but in a much larger scale than in the scenes indoors.
